Heavy Week-End returns for a fourth edition on 4, 5 and 6 June 2027 at the open-air amphitheatre of the Zénith de Nancy, in eastern France. The festival has announced its headliners: Helloween, Falling in Reverse and Marilyn Manson.
Helloween headline on Friday 4 June, extending their 40 Years Anniversary Tour, which began in 2025. Falling in Reverse play on Saturday 5 June and are described by the festival as a band almost never seen on a French stage. Marilyn Manson close the festival on Sunday 6 June. More bands will be announced in the coming weeks.
Capacity is held at 20,000 a day, with close to 10,000 seats in the stands. The festival launched in 2024 and has hosted Scorpions, Slipknot, Judas Priest, Gojira, Deep Purple, Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Dream Theater, Electric Callboy and Sabaton in its first three editions. Close to 40,000 people attended over three days in June 2026.
Each day features four bands, playing one after the other on a single main stage, so there are no clashing sets.
Venue and location
The Zénith de Nancy opened in 1993. The festival says it was the first venue in Europe with a reversible stage that opens onto an open-air amphitheatre. It sits among trees on the edge of the city, in Maxéville. Its past concerts include Guns N’ Roses (1993), AC/DC (1996), Slipknot (2005), Scorpions (2012), Rammstein (2013) and System of a Down (2017). Stone stands rise around a standing pit.
Nancy lies between Paris and the German border. Place Stanislas, the city’s centrepiece, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and there are more than 2,500 hotel rooms within reach of the railway station. Music starts in the late afternoon.
