ArcTanGent 2027 adds Elder, Russian Circles, Brutus and Kong as festival moves to the Cotswolds

ArcTanGent Festival has announced another wave of acts for 2027, following its first sold-out edition last year. The festival moves to a new site for the first time in its history: Todenham Manor Farm, near Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire. It runs from Thursday 19th to Saturday 21st August 2027, with early entry on Wednesday 18th August for a limited number of 4-day ticket holders.

The latest announcement, made on 4th November, includes Elder, Russian Circles, Brutus, Faetooth, Future Of The Left, SubRosa, Hippotraktor, Kong and A-Tota-So. Russian Circles and Brutus will co-headline the Wednesday. It will be the first ArcTanGent appearance for both since 2023.

Future Of The Left will play in honour of the 20th anniversary of Curses. SubRosa reform after splitting in 2016, and Kong reform after splitting in 2011.

Also added are Bloed, Cold Night For Alligators, Death Goals & Tunic, Earth Moves, Earthside, hubris., Ihlo, Lancing Hand, paper hats and Speedial.

The new names join a bill already headlined on the main stage by Blood Incantation and Neurosis. The organisers describe both as among the most requested bands among the festival’s fans. Other acts already confirmed include The Wildhearts, who play an exclusive progressive set, Slift, The Ocean, Messa, Conjurer, Holy Fawn, MØL, Psychonaut and Lowen. Employed To Serve will mark the 10th anniversary of The Warmth of a Dying Sun.

Festival organiser James Scarlett said: “To be sat here a few months after our first ever sold out ATG, with ticket sales for next years festival already miles ahead of where they’ve EVER been at this time of year, AND announcing two juggernauts co-headlining our early entry Wednesday, feels like an immense privilege. To also be announcing a range of other incredible bands that include Future Of The Left and Kong – who have both released some of my personal, genuine all-time favourite albums – reminds me what a huge honour it is to put on ArcTanGent Festival. We truly can’t wait to begin the next chapter at our new home with this amazing community.”

Brutus said: “We’re extremely happy we can come back to ArcTanGent, exactly 10 years after our first show. This will be a UK exclusive festival show, we hope to see you all there!”

Russian Circles said: “We’re always honoured to be asked to play at ArcTanGent. The festival’s organic growth over the years has really made such a cultural impact. The 2027 lineup is amazing and a true testament to the festival’s legacy of artistry and integrity. We are looking forward to returning and can’t wait to see the new site.”

Early Bird tickets are on sale now at 20 per cent off. Super Early Bird tickets have sold out, VIP and 4-day tickets are running low, and day tickets are on sale. Tickets are available from the ArcTanGent website, and the organisers’ full statement on the move is also online. Travel details are on the getting there page.
