The Hara – The Waterfront Studio, Norwich – 06/03/2026

Profiler amassed a large crowd for their energetic set, featuring low growls, heavy bass and hip-hop verses. The 4-piece nu-metal band brought the energy from the get-go and had the crowd head-banging along in no time. I wasn’t familiar with their music before going to this show, but now I can understand their rise in popularity recently. The crowd seemed to thoroughly enjoy their set as they combined notes of Limp Bizkit, Bring Me The Horizon and Bad Omens with their strong stage presence. They had a very strong vocalist, effortlessly switching between clean vocals, growls and more rap-like hip-hop verses which were accompanied by many low growls from the bassist. They had the whole crowd moving in preparation for The Hara up next.

The Hara took to the stage to a massive cheer from the crowd, starting with ‘Enemy’ from their latest album The Fallout. After playing at Voodoo Daddy’s last year, it was nice to see them play a bigger room so there was plenty of space for moshing and crowdsurfing. The pit opened after the first few songs and remained open for the rest of the night, with both Josh and Zack taking it in turns to jump in the middle as well as Josh crowdsurfing towards the beginning of their set.

They brought a high energy set, blending genres and bringing the theatrics to put on the best show for their fans. Most of their songs would be classified as alternative rock but every song has its own unique spin, ‘Rockstar’ features sections where they use an old telephone for a ‘voicemail’ type effect, ‘The system’ started out as a dance track before adding in the guitars.

The whole band appeared even more confident on stage than last time they were here and interacted with the crowd much more which really elevated the experience. Lead singer Josh Taylor, showed off the full extent of his vocal range from singing low and raspy during ‘Psychokiller’ to cleaner vocals in ‘Fool & the Thief’, and even growls and screams throughout ‘Easier to Die’.

Fan favourites appeared to be ‘Fool & the Thief’, ‘Psychokiller’, ‘Intergalactic Sabotage’ and ‘Trophy’ from how loud the crowd was and how hard the mosh pit went. And of course, it wouldn’t be a The Hara show without Zack Breen putting on the panda head and jumping in the middle of the circle pit with his guitar. They created the best atmosphere in the venue before ending the night with ‘Friends’ and meeting all their fans at the merch table afterwards.
