Swedish metalcore band Imminence have released a music video for ‘Crestfallen’, taken from their sixth studio album, Axis Mundi. The album is out now via Sumerian Records, and the video continues the mythological story that runs through the record.
On the track, vocalist and violinist Eddie Berg‘s clean vocals sit alongside electronic textures and orchestration. ‘Crestfallen’ is currently at #27 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and #25 on Mediabase Active Rock in the US.
The video follows those for ‘The Sword That Never Bends’, ‘False Light’ and ‘If Not Now, When’. Each part tells another chapter of a connected story. It centres on an immortal knight cursed to wander in search of his own death. A counterpart known as the Shadow pursues him as he travels towards the mythical Axis Mundi, described as the bridge between the worlds of life and death.
These chapters lead into the Axis Mundi film, which features many of the album’s tracks. Imminence made it with Sumerian Pictures, and Pavel Trebukhin directed it. The film recently had exclusive theatrical screenings in the US, UK, Europe and Australia. A trailer is available.
Axis Mundi follows 2024’s The Black. It reached #2 on the UK Independent Album Breakers Chart and #4 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
Imminence will end the year on a North American headline tour with Dying Wish and Gaerea. In 2027 they play a European headline tour with support from House Of Protection and August Burns Red. Tickets are on sale now.
