The self-proclaimed “best Heavy Metal band in the world”, Massacration finally did their first UK gig at a sold-out The Underworld, packed mostly with a Brazilian crowd.
Born as a fictional band on MTV’s “Hermes e Renato” sketch show in the early 2000s, the group drew so much attention at the time that they decided to go all in and record their debut album “Gates of Metal Fried Chicken of Death“.
Wearing wigs and bringing a lot of attitude to the stage, frontman Detonator kept the crowd entertained as the band played hits such as “Metal is the Law”, “Metal Massacre Attack” and “Feel the Fire… From the Barbecue”.
Earlier on the evening, the Liverpool lads of Reaper rocked the crowd with an energising mixture of Thrash and Prog, while Bite Me had everyone moshing with their Punk n’ Roll set.
