Lady Gaga kicked off the UK and Europe leg of The MAYHEM Ball tour last night with the first of four sold-out shows at London’s The O2. A standout moment arrived when Emma Myers and Evie Templeton of Wednesday joint Gaga onstage for “The Dead Dance,” prompting widespread praise from attendees and press alike.

Key Highlights from Opening Night
The UK and Europe shows expand on themes first performed at Coachella earlier this year. Staged with creative direction from Gaga, Michael Polansky, Parris Goebel, and Ben Dalgleish, the production merges ambitious visuals, live choreography, and high-energy set designs, styled by Hunter Clem and Gaga’s sister Natali Germanotta.
Gaga’s MAYHEM album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year, marking her seventh solo chart-topper. It remained on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart for 17 weeks and earned Platinum certification from the RIAA. Collaborations like “Die With a Smile” with Bruno Mars further reinforced its success, spending 18 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and setting streaming records on Spotify.
Earlier this year, Gaga released “The Dead Dance” alongside a cinematic video directed by Tim Burton, marking her first partnership with the filmmaker. Described as “haunting” by critics, the track combines driving beats with retro-futurist production, evoking the early synth-pop era.

What’s Next
After closing the Europe run, Gaga will cross to Australia for stadium dates in December 2025, followed by six shows in Japan next January. A second North American leg has also been added, linked to high demand for tickets, beginning Feb 14 in Glendale, AZ, with Los Angeles and New York extending their runs to eight and nine nights, respectively.
