Robb Flynn, frontman and founder, shared this personal note with fans:

“I’ve spent years figuring out what makes a Machine Head show special. People mention the riffs, the pits, the sweat—it’s all part of it. But the real magic is when you sing our songs louder than the PA, turning tracks we wrote in a cold Oakland room into something you own. I remember stepping back during ‘Darkness Within’ once, just listening to the crowd take over. That connection isn’t a performance—it’s a conversation. That’s why we’re doing this tour: no openers, just three hours of the songs you’ve screamed until your voice gave out. I want to feel the whole room move as one. Bring your voice. We’ll need it.”

The band are currently on the road in Australia, with headline shows in Perth, Sunshine Coast, and Canberra before hitting the Good Things festivals in late November and early December.

UNATØNED, Machine Head’s eleventh album, is now available worldwide. The record strips their sound back to its rawest, heaviest form, proving the band’s relentless drive hasn’t slowed after three decades.

Machine Head play Glasgow, Manchester, Wolverhampton, and London in May 2026—all tickets from 27 November.
