Lowlands is one of the biggest and most well-known festivals in the Netherlands. It has been running annually since 1993 and is now one of Europe’s most iconic festivals. With over 250 acts on 12 stages, plus film, theatre, comedy, literature and science talks, it’s more than just music! There are no day-tickets which allow for a fully immersive weekend festival experience.
Even the accommodation, which is a campsite next to the festival, is a unique experience on its own. Lowlands 2025 is sold out, but there are a few feasible options to still secure a ticket.
To give you an idea of the 2025 line-up, here are some artists performing at Lowlands this year: Queens of the Stone Age, London Grammar, Vampire Weekend, Chappell Roan, Papa Roach, Marc Rebillet, Chase & Status, Fontaines D.C. and Jamie XX, among many, many (!) others. Some quickly emerging artists who are gaining momentum in 2025 include EKKSTACY (alt-rock with a dark edge), Molchat Doma (Belarusian post-punk), Mk.gee (genre-crossing rising star), Royel Otis (indie-pop guitar duo from Australia), The Beaches (modern pop-rock band from Canada) and Kingfishr (Irish indie/folk). There is so much to see and do at Lowlands that you won’t have to get bored for even one minute.
Resale Tickets for Lowlands
Since Lowlands 2025 is sold out, you would think you are out of luck getting yourself into this weekend-long cultural party, but fear not! You can still get resale tickets in a safe way through the official Ticketmaster website. To go about this, go to Ticketmaster, add the desired number of tickets to your basket, agree to the terms, and then you will be redirected to a page where people are offering their resale tickets. These are through the official selling point, so make sure you only buy tickets on this website, and not through unverified third-party websites!
How to get to Lowlands Festival 2025
To get to the festival from Schiphol Airport, you can take a train directly from the airport to Lelystad Centrum and hop on the shuttle bus to the festival site! For domestic visitors, the same applies. Travel to Lelystad Centrum or Dronten, and hop on the shuttle bus. ANd if you’re out of luck getting to Lowlands this year, make sure to secure tickets for the 2026 edition! This is a festival that needs to be experienced at least once in your life, and when you do there’s a good chance you’ll want to come back again and again.
