Hardcore legends HATEBREED are officially back with their first new music since 2020 and they’re not pulling any punches.
The Grammy-nominated Connecticut mob have just dropped their ferocious new single “Make The Demons Obey”. This marks a long-awaited return to record material for the legends with a furious 3 minutes of shredding and the iconic war cries of frontman Jamey Jasta. Speaking on the single, Jasta said:
“Lots of bands say that their newest release will be their heaviest, and I guess we are no different. We’ve managed to push the envelope and surpass our expectations. We’ve become tighter, harder and more vicious than ever. This is the most excited I’ve been for any Hatebreed release.”
Whilst drummer Matt Byrne also spoke on the release, saying:
“Very exciting things are happening in the Hatebreed camp! It’s time to unleash this beast — new music is here! This is the fastest, most vicious, and most aggressive music we have ever created and I’m pumped for the world to hear it.”
You can listen to “Make The Demons Obey” now across all streaming platforms. While details on a full album are still under wraps, Hatebreed confirm they’re currently operating independently and weighing future label options. Hatebreed are amidst several Summer Slaughtour dates with the likes of Bleeding Through, Fugitive, Malevolence and more. The band are also due back in the UK and Ireland before the end of 2025, playing special guest slots on Killswitch Engage’s upcoming dates with Fit For An Autopsy and Decapitated
