BLOODSTOCK has bestowed more riches upon metal fans, announcing another wave of bands for its 2026 edition. Following the recent reveal of special guests Body Count, the festival has confirmed more acts who will bring the noise to Catton Park next summer. Organiser Vicky Hungerford has also announced an additional band on Saturday 11th that will feature under Black Label, eyes peeled.
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY JOIN THE RONNIE JAMES DIO MAIN STAGE
Sunday welcomes the mighty Black Label Society in a triumphant return to the Ronnie James Dio Main Stage for the first time in over a decade. Zakk Wylde has primarily been busy on Pantera duties as well as rave performances across the Back To The Beginning spectacular over the summer in honour of the now late great Ozzy Osbourne. He makes his BLS UK return to bring the band’s trademark mix of thunderous riffs, attitude, volume, and pure heavy metal energy to close out Bloodstock 2026
A HUGE STATEMENT OF INTENT FROM FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY ON FRIDAY
Friday will see deathcore powerhouse Fit For An Autopsy after last featuring in the 2023 edition of the festival. As one of many amazing bands to join the main stage lineup, FFAA bring their crushing sound and commanding live presence back to the UK for the first time since an incredible November 2024 tour. The New Jersey collective has already stated they intend to break Machine Head’s lofty crowd surfer record set at this year’s headline slot. Big shoes to fill.
SOPHIE LANCASTER STAGE PACKS A PUNCH
The Sophie Lancaster Stage is just as fierce this year, loaded with new talent across the weekend. Beginning on Thursday, duelling with the now open main stage for the 25th anniversary will be Birmingham’s Mantis Defeats Jaguar, previous Metal 2 The Masses winners returning to Catton Park, ready to ignite the celebrations.
Friday promises to be a heavy one as the black metal of Blood Countess and the chaotic sludge party of Gurt have been added to kick off the first full day of the event.
Saturday summons Outergods, who mix blackened death metal and grind for a fusion that will surely shake some sore heads on Saturday.
Finally, Sunday delivers a crushing finale with performances from four new bands added. Assisting in closing festivities for 2026 will be Noisepicker, Alunah, Flayed Disciple, and Acid Throne, ensuring BLOODSTOCK’s closing day is as heavy as they come.
As BLOODSTOCK gears up to celebrate its 25th year, the 2026 edition is already shaping up to be one of the most memorable in its history.
Since the announcement of the above bands, weekend tickets have now sold out in record time. Fans still have the opportunity to grab select day tickets ahead of the festival, but numbers will be scarce. This is not one you want to miss.
