The Gilles Peterson-founded festival We Out Here, with its name taken from the 2018 Brownswood Recordings compilation We Out Here, a calling card for London’s bright-burning young jazz scene, has announced the first wave of acts confirmed for the 2026 edition. The award-winning festival enters its seventh year of its mission to celebrate the joy of collective musical discovery.
2026 We Out Here will become home to an eclectic mix of genre pioneers and newcomers across jazz, soul, hip-hop, electronica and more. The line up announcement features the legendary Brazilian composer, singer and producer Arthur Verocai with Nu Civilisation Orchestra, the father of Ethio-Jazz Mulutu Astatke, and Anglo-French avant-pop group Stereolab. Joining them are Speakers Corner Quarter celebrating the cult composer, producer, musician and queer icon Arthur Russell, boundary pushing Zambian artist Sampa The Great, acclaimed New York rapper MIKE, 90’s drum & bass pioneer Adam F, Mercury Prize shortlisted jazz project corto.alto and Jamie Woon returning from hiatus.
Set in the idyllic Dorset countryside, the festival site offers their passionate community an opportunity to switch off from the outside world and fully immerse in We Out Here’s trademark offering: outstanding live music, some of the best record collections in the world, high-end sound and production, family, wellness and cultural activities.
We Out Here takes place in Wimborne St Giles in Dorset, 20th – 23rd August 2026, tickets are available now.
