The Sex Pistols and Frank Carter have announced a UK and Ireland Tour for 2026, aptly named Anarchy in the UK.
The winter 2026 dates will close down what represents a milestone year for the Sex Pistols, who are; Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock, accompanied by the never dull Gallows, Pure Love and The Rattlesnakes frontman Frank Carter filling in on vocals. The December shows follow a number of special dates across the UK in Summer 2026 to celebrate 50 years of punk.
Paul Cook reminisces back to 1976: “It was kind of like a commando raid, I don’t even think a lot of places knew we were playing there. We just turned up and set up. It was all a learning curve for us. Getting out there and playing live. We were learning on the job.”
Looking back to their iconic 1976 single “Anarchy in the UK”, Paul Cook also shared: “With Anarchy, I think we tapped into a feeling of unrest around the country at the time. The message was pretty simple: just have a go and get out there and do whatever you want to do. It was a new world.”
If you are interested in getting tickets for this incredible tour to celebrate the five raucous decades of the Sex Pistols, then make sure to grab them quick as they went on general sale at 9am Friday 27th of February.
