Danish Alternative Metal group MØL are counting down the days until their new album “DreamCrush” releases on 30th of January via Nuclear Blast Records. As something of a warm up for the album, the band have recently released a brand new single titled “CRUSH”, which represents a focused insight into what the band have promised to be a powerful and immersive piece of album work. MØL will be taking their newest work across the UK and EU from February, ticking off 15 cities in 5 countries, all in the space of just over 2 weeks. “CRUSH” follows previous singles “Garland” and “Young”, both of which offer intense emotional journeys which the newest work promises to build upon even further.
The band’s guitarist Nicolai Busse has shared some thoughts about the new single “CRUSH”, stating that it “encapsulates in many ways the dichotomy we as a band always have sought to balance, the journey between melancholy and jubilee, uplifting beauty and devastation.” Busse also adds “It is a gradual change or undoing of the known over time. The gravitational push and pull between the individual and the world. An acceptance of the many grey days, the mundane. Right there in the embrace of the chaos within the nuances of blues and yellows. We might discover small hints of slow emerging greens. Of beginning growth”.
