BLACK VEIL BRIDES have announced their seventh studio album, titled VINDICATE, which is to be available worldwide from May 8th 2026 via Spinefarm. VINDICATE has become a highly anticipated release, fuelled by the gradual drip-feeding of a selection of epic and cinematic singles, all accompanied by equally powerful and avant-garde music videos. The singles so far have touched upon themes of spirituality, misplaced faith, revenge and eventual vindication; all set to come together as an intense and theatrical journey on the finished album.
Such theatricality presents itself in an ever-shifting way throughout the album, from the organ-backed dramatic soliloquy of “Invocation To The Muse” all the way to the emotive final crescendo that is “Eschaton”. In VINDICATE, frontman Andy Biersack, guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, bassist Lonny Eagleton and drummer Christian Coma aka CC, deliver their most ambitious and surprising evolution of their music career to date. The band’s previously released singles leading up to the album release; “Bleeders”, “Hallelujah” and “Certainty”; all lay bare the unapologetic intensity and spectacular gothic artistry behind this new chapter.
Andy Biersack, on the new album, comments: “This record is rooted in the feelings of revenge and vindication. These are emotions that can either push us forward or hold us back. There’s a duality to them. They can fuel growth, drive ambition, and help us rise above what’s tried to break us, but they can also become destructive if we let them consume us.”
Biersack goes on to explain: “Each song explores a different side of that struggle. Sometimes it’s about getting even with someone else, sometimes it’s about confronting ourselves and our past, or the things that were done to us. At its core, through, this album is about resilience. It’s for anyone who’s ever had their dreams doubted or their fire challenged by people who couldn’t see their vision. We’re all born with that spark. The world will try to take that away at times, but this record is about holding onto it, fighting back, and turning those struggles into something powerful.”
The latest and newest single, album title track “Vindicate”, features a beautiful yet haunting calliope introduction that explodes into a driving wall of guitars and Biersack’s signature scream. The song is a real statement of intent from Black Veil Brides, fully capturing the scale and showmanship that fans have come to love. The track is now available across every streaming platform, and you can also watch the abstract yet chilling music video directed by George Gallardo Kattah, who also directed the music video for “Certainty” (warning, it’s NSFW!).
