The Irish Emo band Greywind has unveiled itâs latest âcomfortingâ single, âMoonâ, from their upcoming album Severed Heart City, that is set to release on 19th September via FLG.
The brother-sister duo has released a heart-melting music video, as well as a striking visualiser, portraying the story about the Earthâs natural satellite as a reminder of the connections with our loved ones.
âWe had Moon written before our first album was even released, so itâs been a song that has been through a lot with us and we canât wait for it to finally be free for the world to hear,â says guitarist Paul OâSullivan. âItâs a song about longing for someone and hoping theyâre thinking about you too.â
âI always picture myself sitting on a windowsill, looking up at the moon and dreaming that the person Iâm thinking about is doing the exact same thing at that moment,â adds vocalist Steph OâSullivan. âIf youâre in a long distance relationship or even a friendship with someone far away, itâs comforting to look at the moon knowing theyâre under it too.â
