Vukovi – The Waterfront Studio, Norwich – 08/02/2026

Flesh Planet took to the stage and immediately went to work creating a mysterious atmosphere with their music. The West Yorkshire band combined elements of grunge and shoegaze with industrial and electronic, creating an upbeat set with funky bass lines combined with vocals from lead singer Damian Hughes, reminiscent of early Placebo vocals. Their unique blend of genres is incomparable to any other band, they have a really niche sound which is somehow beautifully chaotic but still blends perfectly, allowing each instrument to shine through on its own. Their set seemed both upbeat and slow at the same time, each element of their music appeared to be one thing while also being the opposite at the same time. They had half the crowd frozen in place, intrigued, while the other half danced along as their set came to a close with several growls from Damian.

Saint Agnes took to the stage under a purple haze and immediately captured the crowd’s attention. The 4-piece rock band set to work and filled the packed venue with their presence, they really put their all into their performance, showing just how fierce and unafraid to take up space they were. Their short set of rage-filled anthems electrified the room, spreading their confidence to the fans as they whipped their hair around the stage under the strobe-like lighting. A notable stand-out song was ‘Bloodsuckers’ which combined its industrial edge with punk-esque vocals.

It was then Vukovi‘s time to shine, the mosh pits started immediately as Hamish Reilly took to the stage for his guitar intro before Janine Shilstone joined him to begin ‘THIS IS MY LIFE AND MY TRAUMA’. The hazy back-lit stage flashed red and green as the circle pits swirled in the middle of the floor. Janine joked with the fans about how this sold-out crowd was so much better than last time they visited Norwich before spraying them with champagne at the end of ‘MISTY ECSTASY’. Continuing the set, bottle in hand, they played a good mix of fan-favourites from all of their albums, showing off Janine‘s powerful vocals over Hamish‘s metal-like riffs. They kept the room lively and the set upbeat, only taking a moment in the set to sing a slower song; ‘Colour Me In’, sat on the edge of the barricade for a more intimate feel as the fans sang all the lyrics back to them. The mosh pits quickly resumed with ‘LASSO’ and ‘BLADED’. As the show came to an end, Hamish lost his in ears, but they didn’t let anything stop them and finished the last 2 songs ‘RUN/HIDE’ and ‘La Di Da’ without them, without missing a beat.
