Tanzneid World tour by Electric Callboy is hitting up its one and only UK date tonight at the world-famous 10,000-capacity Alexandra Palace in London. The Sold-out show has extremely high expectations for it. Did they manage to turn Alexandra Palace into a rave tonight? Well, before we begin that conversation, let’s take a look at the two amazingly talented bands who are supporting them on this tour. Electronic rock duo Wargasm, and British Metalcore band Bury Tomorrow!

Wargasm

Kicking off the set tonight is Wargasm as Milky Way and Sam Matlock take to the front of the stage, looking over the very full-looking crowd. Their normally high energy and powerful set is just a taster of what they can do, but is slightly overshadowed by the crowd. It was a bit on the slow side for them, and within the first song, we lost the vocals for a good couple of minutes. However, as someone who has only seen Wargasm perform alongside Limp Bizkit during Download 2023. I can see how they have carved out a good section of the music industry for themselves!

Bury Tomorrow

Having just seen Bury Tomorrow headline a few weeks prior, I had high expectations of them, and they smashed it out of the park! They got the audience moving within the first few seconds of starting Choke. The power they brought to the set as tonight’s main headliner got the crowd into the mood! Every member of Bury Tomorrow just looks like they are loving every moment of this exciting night. Their high interaction with the crowd shows why they deserve the title of Best UK Live Artist 2025!

Electric Callboy

It’s time for the leading men of the hour, Electric Callboy! Having to cut down some of the stage production tonight due to the listed building of Alexandria Palace didn’t mean they weren’t going to be pushing that to its limits.

If you’re coming to an Electric Callboy show, you are going to get an Electric Callboy show in all its flaming glory!

Kicking off the show with the latest single Tanzneid, you wouldn’t have thought this, only being 11 days old. It brought the party and techno automatically in with the duo, lead men Nico and Kevin coming out to the front of the stage, bringing the show to a start. With the Party kicking off with enough pyro to keep you on your toes! Every member on stage showcases that they belong up there. They are constantly on the move, from sliding into Sum 41’s cover of Still Waiting which again brought in a nice tie to drummer Frank Zummo’s past. We are quickly running on time to jump aboard the Tekkno Train, showering us in confetti. Every little detail has been thought about. From the images on the main screens to the giant X (normally one of three), with notes of what song or just an incredible light show. To match outfits to go alongside the songs.

We have a slow and calming moment of the evening with a section of acoustic numbers with the beautifully crafted silver piano, which is brought out into the centre of the Ally Pally for our acoustic moment of Fuckboi and Everytime We Touch. But this is a good moment to allow the audience to breathe, and it is just such a loving touch of how talented Electric Callboy are. While they are heading up to the stage, let’s take a moment to say how well planned out their set is. You don’t only have the latest and favourite songs, but you also have a nice collection of older songs. A little something for everyone. With a nice round of darts from Nico (sadly not a bullseye this time around), we hit over halfway through the set.

We couldn’t miss out mentioning the drum solos, Elevator Operator, and finishing on the encore of Ratatata, Spaceman, and We Got The Moves. Electric Callboy are just a force to be reckoned with, from everyone who puts together the shows, from the tour crew to sound, Lighting and TankTheTech, who get everything ready they want to give the audience the best of times. Every little detail really shows the love they have for doing what they do behind the scenes. Electric Callboy is going to be one of the greatest bands around, truly.
