Arizona rock icons Jimmy Eat World have announced their live return to the UK with three outdoor headline shows in August 2026, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their classic album, Bleed American.

The exclusive UK/EU Bleed American shows begin on 14th August at The Piece Hall in Halifax, followed by Cardiff Castle on 15th August, and culminate on 16th August with their biggest UK headline show to date at London’s Gunnersbury Park.

Joining Jimmy Eat World will be special guests Rise Against, with support from The Get Up Kids and Jay Som (who will perform in Cardiff and London only). Tickets go on general sale from Friday 5 December at 10am GMT.

These shows mark the first opportunity for UK fans to experience Jimmy Eat World performing Bleed American in full. The band will also play rarities and hits from their catalogue, with a bigger production than ever before.

Bleed American helped push alternative rock into the mainstream, cementing Jimmy Eat World as pioneering artists of the 2000s music scene. The album achieved Platinum status in the US and Gold in the UK. The single “The Middle” has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify and has been covered by artists including Prince and Taylor Swift.

The album artwork, featuring bowling trophies on a cigarette machine, was taken from a photograph by William Eggleston.

Jim Adkins comments: “When we finished mixing Bleed American, we felt we had created something special. We’re still amazed by how the record has connected with people over the years. Bleed American belongs to you as much as it does to us, so we want to celebrate it with you in a special way.”

The announcement follows a busy year for the band, including performances at Download Festival and several other major festivals, and the recent release of their Something(s) Loud EP.
