Another day, another huge announcement for Inferno Metal Festival!
On its 4th round of announcements, the legendary festival added Tormentor, Firespawn, Mork, Carnivore A.D., Møl, Nihilvm, Abhorration, Ruun, Arachno, Gaddavír, Feversea, Homselvareg, Hermit Dreamsand Senti to their already stacked line-up.
One of the highlights of this announcement, Tormentor, the powerhouse Hungarian black metal group that has been around since the early 80s and reunited in 2017, will storm the festival stage for their first time, which means it will be double duty for vocalist Attila Csihar as Mayhem is also billed to play at the festival.
The Swedes of Firespawn, whose vocalist L-G Petrov tragically passed away in 2021, are back from their hiatus, this time with Jörgen Sandström (Grave, Torture Division) on vocals. The band, that initially formed in 2012 with members from Necrophobic and Entombed A.D., now continues their mission of playing faster and harder death metal to their audiences.
Mork, who played Inferno in previous editions, is back to the festival with their latest release “Syv“, the 7th album in their career which received great reviews last year. Once again Thomas Eriksen and his band will bring their own twist of old-school black metal to the stage.
Inferno Metal Festival will once again take place in multiple venues in Oslo, Norway, during Easter next year, 2-5 April.
Tickets and passes are available on their website.
