Bloodstock’s Winter Gathering Festival will be making a comeback this winter, taking place at Wolverhampton’s KK’s Steel Mill on December 5th. The line-up looks absolutely incredible and will be just the ticket to help get ready for the Creepmas season.
Rotting Christ will be appearing with a special headlining set celebrating “35 years of evil existence” from the Greek black metal veterans, while Ukrainian metal outfit 1914 will bring their brand of war-inspired death metal to the occasion. There’s plenty of homegrown talent on show too, with Leeds thrash group Pest Control, Scottish death metal Party Canon, Nottingham buccaneers Red Rum, Hampshire doom merchants Witchsorrow and Manchester rockers Square Wild.
Headlining the second stage will be Shrapnel, who will be joined by The Crawling, Moon Reaper and Head Dent. Aside from the music, further attractions include live Q&A’s, S’tanta’s Grotto, signings, giveaways and even a chance of a white Christmas from the festival’s own snow machine.
The indoor set-up for the winter event will remind old-school Bloodstock attendees of the festival’s roots at Derby Assembly Rooms, before finding it’s most well known home outdoors at Catton Hall.
Vicky Hungerford who’s the festival’s director shared; “Last year’s Winter Gathering was honestly such a blast. It reminded us exactly why Bloodstock began as an indoor event in the first place. The atmosphere was so intimate and felt just like those early days. We’ve got loads of fun things planned for 2026 and we’d love to see as many of you there as possible. It’s basically our Bloodstock Christmas Party!”.
